Samsung are prepared to release their OLED TV

At the 2012 World's Fair in South Korea, Samsung revealed their first OLED TV model ES9500. The ES9500 will be 55-inches with Smart Dual View technology allowing two users to view different 2D programs wearing 3D glasses (the sound will be distributed via headphones). The TV can be controlled with voice, motion and face. The color reproduction is fascinating using its dual-core CPU.

It will be launched in the end of the 2012 and it will have 9000$ price tag.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy Note

Samsung Galaxy Note owners started to receive notification about much-awaited Android Ice Cream Sandwich update. The update is over-the-air and it's 318.89MB size.

The first countries that will receive update are Germany and Netherlands for the unlocked devices.

The Ice Cream Sandwich update includes the newest features like, face unlock, the newest TouchWiz UI, updated S Note App and update S Memo Widget.

Owners can update their devices over-the-air, using Kies and using Odin.

Samsung Galaxy SIII will have its Olympics edition

When Samsung launched their latest model, long expected Samsung Galaxy SIII, they provided information that SIII would be the official phone of the Olympics 2012. They have prepared limited edition of devices that support Visa mobile payment system called Visa payWave.

The visitors of the Olympics who will have Samsung Galaxy SIII Olympics edition will be able to buy products with a wave of the device at thousands retail stores in London.

The payments above 25 euros will require a passcode for verification of the payment.

Whole process will go trough NFC technology which was introduced at the end of the last year and it's only made for Android smartphone that have Ice Cream Sandwich.

Why Galaxy SIII would be bad investment?

Finally the newest brand of Samsung arrived. The new Samsung Galaxy SIII has good chances to be the smartphone of the year. But is it worth for you to upgrade your dual core smartphone?

Samsung Galaxy SIII has plastic body which is big minus, but it's lighter then its competitors. It has 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display with 306 ppi (pixels per inch). The Exynos 4 Quad ARM Cortex-A9 processor works at 1.4 GHz speed, that pretty good but it's very battery consuming when it works with full speed and plenty of applications don't really need quad core processor to work. Ice Cream Sandwich is the starting OS for this devices with an option for upgrades in the following two years to newest android releases. It's UI is armed with Samsung's TouchWiz. The 8-megapixel camera makes the possibility of recording HD video. There is not progress in the area of RAM, where it stays on 1GB.

If you are upgrading from iPhone 4s or Galaxy SII, really the quad core processor is not worthy to invest plus 200$ for Galaxy SIII. Maybe it would be better to wait little for iPhone 5 to appear on the market and then to get your new smartphone.
